Fuego Del Sol wasn’t seen as one of the most successful AEW wrestlers when it came to win-loss record. The undersized underdog consistently showed heart, but despite securing his AEW contract, he often found himself on the losing end. Although he was released by AEW last year, it seems he made a surprise appearance during the latest ROH television tapings.

Fuego Del Sol was also out of action due to foot injury and underwent surgery for the same back in March 2023. It was then revealed that he had parted ways with AEW after his contract expired on July 1st last year.

During the latest set of ROH television taping that took place at the eSports Arena in Arlington, TX on July 20th, Fuego Del Sol made his unexpected return to the company as he was in action.

Fuego Del Sol, Komander and Top Flight (Action Andretti, Dante Martin & Darius Martin) squared off against Commoroto, Anthony Henry & Iron Savages (Jacked Jameson, Boulder & Bronson). Del Sol’s team would also pick up the win, marking his successful return after so long.

Earlier this month, even Marko Stunt made his surprise return during an episode of AEW Collision, so it seems likely the company will be bringing back former talent for more surprising appearances in the future. Nonetheless, we’ll have to see if Del Sol will make more appearances in the future.
