CM Punk has been sidelined since January due to a triceps injury, but he has stayed in the spotlight thanks to his feud with Drew McIntyre. He is still not cleared for an in-ring return but he was recently spotted engaging in an intense strike training drill as he is working towards being cleared.

It was also reported that CM Punk was at the WWE Performance Center last week as he was working hard to get cleared for an in-ring return, as he obviously has a score to settle with Drew McIntyre.

Ace Steel’s pro wrestling school The Foundation of Professional Wrestling took to its Instagram story and uploaded a video of CM Punk, as he was seen engaging in an intense drill featuring strikes and chops. He even threw a rolling elbow strike at the end for good measure, clearly looking good in the process.

We previously reported that Seth Rollins is set to have a role in CM Punk and Drew McIntyre’s match at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event on August 3rd, so we’ll have to see if Punk will be 100% ready for his in-ring return before then.
