Britt Baker’s In-Ring Return Match Confirmed

The card for next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite is shaping up with some compelling matchups set to take place.

After her victory via injury stoppage over Skye Blue on the July 20 episode of AEW Collision in Arlington, Texas, former AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida is slated for action on the July 24 episode of AEW Dynamite in Nashville, TN. AEW and ROH President Tony Khan announced on Saturday night that Shida will face the returning Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D., another former AEW Women’s World Champion, in what promises to be a highly anticipated bout.

Also on the card for the July 24 installment of AEW Dynamite, which airs weekly on TBS during prime time, Chris Jericho will go up against Minoru Suzuki for the FTW Championship. This match is expected to be a brutal showdown between two seasoned competitors known for their intense in-ring styles.

Additionally, the episode will feature the debut of “The Glamour” Mariah May, an appearance by AEW International Champion MJF, and the annual Blood & Guts match with Team AEW facing The Elite. This lineup is sure to provide a mix of high-stakes competition and exciting wrestling entertainment.
