Dave Bautista, renowned for his standout performances in acclaimed films, remains a highly sought-after talent in the entertainment industry. The former WWE wrestler has now revealed that he makes a deliberate effort to incorporate his WWE finisher into each of his movie roles.

Before landing the role of Drax in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy, Bautista revealed he was struggling financially due to tax issues. But his portrayal of Drax launched his career, leading to prominent roles in Blade Runner 2049Dune and more.

The WWE alum revealed that he included his signature Bautista Bomb move in a fight scene for the new action comedy sequel My Spy: The Eternal City, which is currently available on Prime Video.

While speaking to Comicbook.com, Batista revealed he wanted to feature the move in the film, saying it was a fun addition during the fight scene’s development. He mentioned that incorporating the Bautista Bomb into his projects has become something of an obsession for him. He views it as a personal Easter egg, a nod to his wrestling career and a gesture to his fans.

“I just wanted to put it in. We were working on that fight scene and I was like, ‘Oh man this would be fun.’ And now, it’s kind of become my obsession. I’m trying to squeeze it into every film just because. It’s one of those Easter eggs. I think if I can get it into every film, I will. It’s just a nod to my career. A nod to the fans.”

Batista even gave a custom WWE title to the director for his upcoming film ‘The Killer’s Game’ as token of appreciation. Regardless, The Animal will never forget his roots, so we’ll have to see if he will end up hitting the Batista Bomb in another movie in the future.
