Cody Rhodes accepted Solo Sikoa’s challenge for an Undisputed WWE Title match at SummerSlam last week and was utterly annihilated by The Bloodline. The same happened on SmackDown this week as well but Kevin Owens also fell victim and now it appears Tonga Loa issued a warning to Owens after the show.
On the July 19, 2024, episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Cody Rhodes was brutally attacked by the new incarnation of The Bloodline. Solo Sikoa and his faction stormed the ring to assault Rhodes and Kevin Owens following their victory over A-Town Down Under.
Solo Sikoa’s version of The Bloodline launched the attack to retaliate against Kevin Owens for teaming up with Cody Rhodes. Sikoa had previously warned the SmackDown locker room against aligning with Rhodes for his match against Theory and Waller. After overpowering Owens and neutralizing him, Solo and his Tongan allies powerbombed Rhodes through the announcer’s table.
During the assault, Owens fought back by raking Tonga Loa’s eyes, briefly blinding him. Following the brutal beatdown of both Owens and Rhodes, WWE took to their Instagram and uploaded a video of The Bloodline. In the video, Tonga Loa ominously declared, “It’s ain’t over, KO. It’s not over,” hinting at a future confrontation with Kevin Owens.

The Bloodline took out Randy Orton on Friday Night SmackDown last week and he was absent on this week’s show because of that and it’s likely Kevin Owens has been written off television the same way, leaving Cody Rhodes all alone. We’ll have to see what will become of Rhodes as we slowly head towards SummerSlam on August 3rd.
