Mark Henry Confirms Son Jacob’s Interest in Pro Wrestling Career

WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry, a respected figure in the pro wrestling world, has always been proud of his son’s accomplishments. He has now confirmed that his son is interested in pursuing a career in wrestling.

Mark Henry’s son Jacob is gaining recognition in amateur wrestling, securing notable victories outside of the pro wrestling ring. Jacob even got selected for the University of Oklahoma’s wrestling team.

With such athletic skills, fans have started wondering if Jacob would follow Mark Henry’s path and become a professional wrestler. While speaking to TMZ Sports, Mark Henry revealed that his son Jacob is deeply passionate about professional wrestling.

Unlike aiming for an Olympic wrestling career or other traditional sports achievements, Jacob expressed a desire to main event WrestleMania and become a champion in Japan, confirming his interest in pursuing a career in professional wrestling. Henry acknowledged that these are ambitious goals but emphasized that setting such high aspirations is crucial.

“His true passion is pro wrestling. He’s not trying to be an Olympic champion in wrestling. He said, ‘I don’t want to go to the Pro Bowl or win a Super Bowl. I want to main event WrestleMania and go to Japan and be a champion.’ I’m like, ‘Bro, those are hefty goals.’ But I tell you what, if your goals don’t scare you, then you’re playing it safe. You’re not going to make it unless you have high, high dreams.”

The prospect of Mark Henry’s son entering the world of professional wrestling remains to be seen. After all, Henry even claimed that his son’s wrestling ability already matches the top talents in NXT, so we’ll have to see when Jacob Henry will make his way into the world of professional wrestling.
