Jeff Hardy Admits Initial Reluctance to Making TNA Return

Jeff Hardy’s return to TNA Wrestling at TNA Against All Odds was not only triumphant moment for fans but for the Charismatic Enigma as well. He has been integrated back into TNA programming in no time but it appears he was initially against returning to TNA until he changed his mind.

Hardy worked for TNA Wrestling from 2004 to 2006 and again from 2010 to 2017. During both stints, he saw considerable success in the company and was one of the mainstays of TNA television, especially during his second run.

While speaking in an interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling Senior Editor Bill Apter, Jeff Hardy recounted his reaction to his brother Matt’s unexpected TNA appearance in April. He revealed that his wife informed him of Matt’s debut while he was in the bathroom, and he was initially shocked. Hardy had no prior knowledge of Matt’s return to TNA.

Jeff Hardy’s initial reaction was to rule out returning to TNA himself. However, after reflecting on his time with the promotion, Hardy reconsidered. He acknowledged that he had many positive experiences and created memorable moments during his previous stints with TNA.

“When Matt first showed up in TNA, my wife called me in the bathroom and said, ‘Did you know Matt was going to TNA?’ I said, ‘No!’ I had no idea. Then I watched the footage, ‘Oh my God,’ and to myself, I speak with my soul, I said, ‘There’s no way we’re going back to TNA.’ But then I just let it dwell, I thought about it, and then I was like, oh my God, wait a minute, I had a lot of cool moments in TNA. I created a lot of great memories in TNA.”

As Jeff Hardy continues to rebuild his career in TNA Wrestling, fans are eagerly anticipating how he will fare in the coming weeks. However, he might be away from TNA television for a while after he was written off during TNA Impact this week, right before Slammiversary. Nonetheless, fans are just happy to see Jeff Hardy back in TNA and only want him to do his best.
