Hammerstone made his return to TNA Wrestling and faced a TNA Original at 2024 TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view event.

Competing in the Countdown show of the event, Hammerstone went up against Eric Young. This marked Hammerstone’s first match on TNA programming since May.

In his previous appearance on the May 2 episode of TNA iMPACT!, Hammerstone defeated Cody Deaner but then got into a brawl with Jake Something. He was later deemed medically unfit to compete and was pulled from TNA Under Siege.

During the Countdown show, Eric Young managed to secure a victory over Hammerstone with a roll-up after countering the Torture Rack. Post-match, Young addressed the Montreal crowd, reflecting on TNA’s significance and legacy over its 22 years in business.
