Mexican wrestler El Hijo del Vikingo, who has captured considerable attention in the professional wrestling world, has been out of action due to a knee injury. However, he has now confirmed his status for an in-ring return.

On February 17, 2024, Vikingo partnered with Psycho Clown and Wotan at AULL Rencor Extremo but suffered a loss against Negocio Traumado. The match was stopped due to an injury to Vikingo’s right knee.

As previously reported, El Hijo del Vikingo was scheduled to undergo surgery for a ruptured ligament and damaged meniscus. It was then confirmed that he underwent the surgery successfully.

El Hijo del Vikingo took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of himself during a past appearance at AEW Dynamite. A fan asked him if he was already back from injury, to which Vikingo confirmed that he isn’t yet but stated that it was almost time for his in-ring return.
