WWE is always on the lookout for talent worldwide. They may have their eye on one UK female wrestler, but they always have room for more if they’re a fit. The company has signed a few Australians before, with varying success. Now, it seems they have their eye on someone who could really make an impact in the women’s division.
Corey Brennan reported on Fightful Select that there’s a lot of buzz around Australian “powerhouse” Delta Brady, who recently wrapped up her final dates in Australia before heading overseas. Many assume she is signing with WWE.
Delta impressed during the Australian tryouts before Elimination Chamber earlier this year. People Brennan spoke to in the Australian scene believe Delta has signed with WWE, but we haven’t been able to confirm if it’s official yet.
Bronson Reed, Rhea Ripley, and Grayson Waller are currently doing well in WWE, and they all come from Australia. If Delta joins them, she could have some interesting storylines with Ripley.
Ringside News will keep an eye on this story and many others in the pro wrestling world. We’ll see who WWE hires in the coming year, but it’s hard for anyone to turn down a contract offer from WWE at this point.
