TNA Wrestling brought their Slammiversary event to pay-per-view, packing Montreal’s Verdun Auditorium with 4,000 fans ready for action. The TNA Tag Team Titles were defended during the show, and it was quite a match for fans in Canada.

One of the standout matches was the TNA Tag Team Championship bout, where the reigning champions, The System, consisting of Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards, faced off against the challengers, Ace Austin and Chris Bey of ABC. The match captivated the fans as both teams fought hard in Canada.

ABC made their way to the ring with a new entrance track, written by Chris Bey himself. Edwards and Myers walked into Slammiversary as champions for over 140 days and were confident while wearing red, white, and blue in Canada.

The Ontario crowd was excited for this match, as it was the second contest of the night. Both teams tried to wear each other down, and The System eventually gained control using their tactics that had kept the titles around their waists for months.

The crowd was at a fever pitch as ABC nearly won the titles, but Edwards kicked out at two. Then the match turned into a bit of a brawl, with Chris Bey taking on both members of The System, but it didn’t work out for him. Thankfully, ABC managed to turn things around.

In the end, ABC won the match clean and became the new TNA Tag Team Champions. This was the first title change of the night, and the Ontario crowd was very happy to see it happen. The System wasn’t pleased about losing the titles, but that’s how things turned out at Slammiversary.
