The Undertaker, renowned for his iconic presence and legendary WWE career, has achieved much in the wrestling world. However, there are aspects of his career that he feels were left unfulfilled. Recently, The Deadman revealed his unmet goals for the Ministry of Darkness character.

During The Attitude Era, The Undertaker emerged as one of the biggest names, evolving from his Deadman persona to a more sinister character in the Ministry of Darkness. This faction was formed after Paul Bearer betrayed Kane, leading The Undertaker to declare that a “plague of evil” would be unleashed in the WWF. The group, which included members like Bradshaw, Faarooq, Mideon, Viscera, Edge, Christian, and Gangrel, had a run of about a year before disbanding.

While speaking on the Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker said that he wanted to take his Ministry of Darkness character to new heights. The Undertaker explained that after being on TV for so long, there’s always a risk of burnout and losing interest.

To counter this, he aimed to take his character to an even darker place than before, using more sinister imagery and symbolism. His goal was to push boundaries and make people feel uncomfortable, all while continuing to evolve the character.

“When you’ve been on TV for so long, you always run that chance of burnout and wash out and losing interest, so I wanted to take the character even darker, even darker than where it had already been, but in an even more sinister kind of way. I wanted to use lots of imagery and symbolism and just really push the envelope to what was going to make people feel uncomfortable. That was my goal – continue to evolve the character.”

The Undertaker also wants grittier content in WWE under the new leadership. Nevertheless, the Ministry of Darkness will remain one of The Undertaker’s biggest unfulfilled wishes, and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
