WWE NXT is currently on a roll, coming off an incredible Heatwave Premium Live Event earlier this month and they are keeping the momentum going with more events as well. Interestingly enough, WWE already announced a couple of combination shows featuring RAW and NXT and the reason for that has been revealed.

WWE has announced a series of combined Raw and NXT special shows. NXT No Mercy will take place on September 1, 2024, at Denver’s Ball Arena, followed by Raw the next day. NXT Halloween Havoc is scheduled for October 27, 2024, in Hershey, PA, with Raw the following night.

According to Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE plans to offer combo tickets at a discounted price to encourage fans to attend both shows, which will also help boost NXT attendance. Hershey is also known as a strong WWE market, making the move a smart one.

“The idea is to do combo tickets at a discount price to encourage people who want to see Raw to get a better deal and see both shows, thus helping the NXT crowds. Hershey is a super WWE market.”

WWE is truly the global juggernaut of professional wrestling and every single business decision they make is something they take a long time to consider, so many fans aren’t surprised by this decision to combine shows either.

The next few months of WWE programming promise to be worth watching, as the company is clearly making sure that each and every Premium Live Event and weekly television show more than live up to the high standards they have set already.
