Mandy Rose has experienced a whirlwind journey since her abrupt departure from WWE back in December 2022. In the time since then, Rose has developed her own empire but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have opinions about her time in WWE. In fact, Rose claimed that speaking out in WWE was like wasting breath.

Earlier this year, Mercedes Mone claimed that she has creative control in AEW, but further added that she still works together with Tony Khan. We had also reported the legitimacy of her claims as well.

While speaking on the Power Alphas podcast, Mandy Rose addressed Mercedes Mone’s claim that she has creative control in AEW. Her remarks prompted former Rose to reflect on her early achievements and the challenges of advocating for creative freedom in WWE.

Rose talked about how Mone consistently sought creative control during her WWE tenure. She noted that Mone would often be frustrated because she couldn’t incorporate her ideas for her character, and she found speaking out in WWE to be a waste of time.

Rose praised Mone for achieving complete creative control and expressed admiration for her perseverance, acknowledging how difficult it was for Mone to voice her concerns in WWE due to unchanging circumstances and resistance from certain people.

“Good for her for doing what she did and now she’s able to have complete creative control which she was always big with. I remember in WWE, like, if she wasn’t happy with something, it was hard for her to be able to speak out about it because certain circumstances and people really weren’t going to change it. Then it was useless to even speak out cause you’re just wasting your breath. So I think that’s cool that she does have all of that creative control.”

In the meantime, Mandy Rose has also addressed potentially making her way to AEW. Regardless, Mandy Rose will always be very open about her time in WWE and that’s unlikely to ever change.

As Rose continues to build her own empire outside of WWE, her experiences and insights contribute to the larger conversation about creative freedom and the evolving landscape of professional wrestling.
