Former WWE Superstar Matt Riddle has been making headlines lately for various reasons, including his release from WWE back in September. Riddle has called out Jake Paul numerous times for a potential boxing match and now Jake Paul has finally responded to the same, as he called out Riddle for wanting a payday with a boxing match.

The Original Bro had a successful career in the UFC before making his way to the world of professional wrestling, so his legitimacy inside the Octagon is never under question. After all, he never stopped his MMA training even during his time in WWE.

Last year, reports suggested that Jake Paul and Matt Riddle were in negotiations regarding potential bout. Naturally, a boxing match between the two stars is an enticing prospect for both of them. However, nothing came of such negotiations whatsoever.

While speaking during a recent press conference for his boxing match against Mike Perry, Jake Paul was asked about his opinion on Matt Riddle claiming Paul has been ducking him for a match. Jake Paul claimed that he does not know who Matt Riddle is and called Riddle out for wanting a payday.

”I don’t know who that is. Sounds like somebody wants a payday.”

Matt Riddle also recently revealed when he plans on returning to MMA. Judging by what Jake Paul had to say, it has become abundantly clear that he has no interest in squaring off against Matt Riddle and this is something both Riddle and his fans have to accept now.
