Tony Schiavone has been a stalwart in Tony Khan’s company since its inception, fulfilling roles as a commentator and occasional announcer. However, it appears he was criticized for crossing the line on AEW Dynamite this week.

Mariah May made a surprising appearance on AEW Dynamite’s 250th episode, masquerading as Timeless Toni Storm to confront her controversial actions from the previous week. She boldly stated that her actions were expected by everyone, and she had calculated how long she could maintain the charade alongside Toni for her own agenda.

May then revealed her true intentions, citing the upcoming opportunity at Wembley Stadium as her moment to unveil her plans. She concluded her promo by declaring that her match against Toni Storm at All In would showcase her best performance yet, asserting her ambition to make AEW all about herself.

During May’s promo, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone controversially encouraged her to “speak b****,” a comment that sparked criticism from his broadcast partners. After Dynamite ended, Nigel McGuinness took to social media to criticize Schiavone for “overstepping the line” during the broadcast.

”Overstepping the line…”

Mariah May is clearly determined absolutely destroy Toni Storm at AEW All In at Wembley, so we will have to wait and see if she will be able to succeed in her goal and become the AEW Women’s World Champion, as Tony Schiavone certainly won’t like that.
