WWE Hall of Famer Tammy Sytch has faced significant legal challenges, including a DUI manslaughter case that has had a profound impact on her life and it appears a motion has been filed to push back her most recent wrongful death trial.

In case you weren’t aware at all, Tammy Sytch been entangled in legal troubles over the years, leading to repeated incarcerations and a tarnished reputation. Following her involvement in a fatal three-car crash in 2022, which resulted in 17-year prison sentence, things just haven’t gone well for her.

As previously reported, a lawsuit filed by the estate of Julian Lasseter, who tragically lost his life in a March 2022 traffic incident involving Tammy “Sunny” Sytch, was scheduled to go to trial on October 7th at The Circuit Court of the Sevenths Judicial Circuit in Volusia County, Florida. The lawsuit seeks damages in excess of $30,000, alleging that Sytch was intoxicated while driving southbound on N. Yonge Street in Ormond Beach, Florida, when she negligently collided with the rear end of Lasseter’s vehicle near W. Granada Boulevard. This collision allegedly caused severe injuries leading to Lasseter’s death the same day.

The legal action also claims that Sytch’s negligence resulted in significant medical and funeral expenses for the Lasseter family. Furthermore, it asserts that Lasseter’s adult daughter has suffered and continues to suffer from the loss of her father’s companionship, guidance, and mental anguish due to his death.

However, according to PWInsider, the October trial date in the lawsuit involving Tammy Sytch, brought by the estate of Julian Lasseter, may be delayed. This follows a motion filed by both parties in the Circuit Court of the Sevenths Judicial Circuit in Volusia County, Florida.

Originally set to begin on October 7th, the trial could be postponed due to ongoing issues, including Sytch’s appeal regarding discovery obligations and scheduling conflicts with other trials involving the attorneys. Both sides are seeking a pause and rescheduling of the trial date pending the outcome of Sytch’s appeal.

Tammy Sytch also faces the scrutiny of collection agency. Despite her notoriety in the professional wrestling world, Sytch’s current predicament is ultimately her own fault. It remains to be seen how this new lawsuit progresses once a new trial date is set.
