Wrestling veteran Matt Hardy introduced the wrestling world to his captivating gimmick, “Broken” Matt Hardy, as part of TNA in 2016, which was considered a turning point in his two-decade-long career.

Following its immense popularity, Matt Hardy brought his popular persona to different promotions like ROH, WWE and AEW and returned to TNA at their Rebellion pay-per-view this year under the Broken gimmick.

However, in the recent edition of his podcast, The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy, the former WWE tag team champion addressed the idea of his “Broken” character joining The Judgment Day faction.

Matt Hardy stated that his character is evolving with time, and it could be a good idea for The Broken One to join the ranks of Judgment Day, hoping to do something fun as part of their current tenure in WWE.

“Yeah, once again, never say never. Who knows? The ‘Broken’ Matt Hardy character is actually kind of evolving. Some people have noticed how I kind of go in and out of the voice of ‘Broken’ Matt or the voice of the more authentic Matt Hardy, so it is changing some. It is definitely evolving. I think it is time to do this evolution. So yeah, who knows? The Judgment Day, they’ve got a cool gig going, so yeah, that’d be something that would be fun.”

With The Judgment Day stable inducting new members like JD McDonagh and Carlito, who is almost close to being an official member, it could be interesting to see Broken Matt Hardy become a part of the faction, should he return to WWE in the future.
