The Elite and Team AEW are set to battle it out in the Blood & Guts match next week on AEW Dynamite and there is a ton of excitement for the bout as well. Following Dynamite this week, Jack Perry vowed that The Elite will be victorious in Blood & Guts.

Darby Allin disrupted The Elite’s plans on the July 17th episode of AEW Dynamite by joining Team AEW and engaging in a brawl with the Young Bucks, Jack Perry, and Kazuchika Okada at the end of the show. The two teams are set to clash in the Blood & Guts Match on the July 24th episode of AEW Dynamite.

In a digital exclusive, The Elite talked about how upset they are. Nicholas Jackson complained about Sting and Darby, saying it’s annoying and makes them really angry that Darby is copying Sting’s style. Matthew Jackson talked about how hard it is to get respect in the company they helped create. He said he feels like a stranger there, with other wrestlers disrespecting him and making him look bad on TV, which even worried his wife.

Nicholas mentioned that they were supposed to celebrate tonight, but instead, they’re getting ready for the Blood & Guts match next week. He hinted that having Hangman on their team might give them the advantage they need.

Nicholas Jackson: ”We’ve already been through this, Sting. Darby stealing your schtick now? It’s ridiculous. It pisses us off. You thought we were pissed off before? We’re pissed off even more, damn it.”

Matthew Jackson: ”What do you have to do to gain a little bit of respect around this place? We’ve been here for the entire run. We created the company. Still, I walk around here like I’m a stranger in my own home. I have people coming down from the ceiling. I have The Acclaimed disparaging their own bosses on television. I’m a little bit angry. I try not to be. I’m a little bit. I was just made fun of and embarrassed on national television. My wife is texting me. She said, ‘I saw that. Are you okay?’ What am I supposed to say?”

NJ: ”Tonight was supposed to be a night of celebrating. We’re not celebrating tonight. What we’re doing is, we’re getting ready. We’re prepping ourselves for next week. Blood & Guts, you five a******* haven’t seen the best of us. You haven’t seen the violent side of us. Well, guess what? Hangman’s on our side, and he might be the secret ingredient that The Elite need.”

Jack Perry talked about how confident he feels going into Blood & Guts. He said that The Elite stick together, and The Young Bucks supported him when his other friends didn’t. He promised that no matter what happens in the match, The Elite would have each other’s backs and come out on top.

”Next week, Nashville, Tennessee, it’s Blood & Guts. This ragtag team comes together at the eleventh hour, and they think they’re gonna beat us? The Elite? You want to know what makes The Elite such a dominant force? It’s that we have each other’s backs. These two [The Young Bucks] had my back when the people I thought were my best friends were too big of p****** to give me a call for eight months. These two had my back. So no matter what happens inside those cages, I will have theirs, and The Elite will reign supreme in Blood & Guts.”

We will have to wait and see who will prevail in the Blood & Guts match next week on AEW Dynamite, as it is clear the match will be a bloody spectacle, as it has been the case for the past few years.
