Gabe Kidd has made bold statements about New Japan Pro Wrestling, asserting that it is where the best in the business compete. Known for his controversial remarks, Kidd has previously criticized figures like Cody Rhodes, Chris Jericho, and the Young Bucks, labeling their era in NJPW as the company’s worst. Now, he is praising NJPW’s superiority in the wrestling world.

The NJPW G1 Climax tournament is set to begin on July 20th. This prestigious event will feature top-tier competitors vying for a chance to headline NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 19 for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Gabe Kidd believes this tournament tops anything any other company has going.

During the NJPW G1 Climax 34 tournament press conference, Gabe Kidd pointed out the significance of the tournament. He dissed every other tournament in the pro wrestling world in one swoop as he bolstered his own company’s event.

“A Block, G1, let’s talk about it. Let’s talk about this trophy right here. This is the champion’s league of professional wrestling. F*ck the King of the Ring, f*ck the Continental Classic. This is the number one tournament in professional wrestling, and what do we have here? The best wrestlers in the world. Where the best wrestle.”
