Ex-WWE Star Xia Li’s MMA Debut Confirmed for August

Xia Li made waves as the first Chinese talent to join WWE a few years ago. After honing her skills in NXT, Li made her debut on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown in 2021. Following her release from WWE, she has now confirmed her upcoming MMA debut.

Earlier this year, Xia Li announced that she had parted ways with WWE. This came as a shock for many fans as they simply wanted to see what Xia Li was capable of as a WWE Superstar.

In case you forgot, Xia Li began training for her debut in the world of MMA and fans were curious to see when that would happen. It turns out they will not have to wait long for her debut now.

Combat Night MMA has announced on Instagram that Xia Li will face Xiomara Lee on August 3rd in Kissimmee. Xiomara holds a 1-0 record as an amateur in MMA, while Xia Li brings her experience from training and competing in the martial art of wushu to the bout.

Xia Li will be using her wushu skills again once she competes in MMA this year. We’ll have to wait and see what else the future has in store for the former WWE Superstar as fans are excited for her upcoming MMA debut.
