Darby Allin may not be immune to punishment, but he definitely welcomes it as he suffered a foot injury earlier this year and was recovering from it. With that said, Allin has now confirmed he is medically cleared for an in-ring return.
Darby Allin took part in the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing but fell short of victory. Following the grueling contest, reports surfaced indicating that Allin underwent an MRI due to injuries sustained during the match. As a result, he was sidelined indefinitely for recovery.
Darby Allin made his shocking return during the July 10th edition of AEW Dynamite and made it clear he is far from done with The Elite, making fans wonder if he was going to compete again soon.
While speaking on Friday Night Fights, Darby Allin talked about his return for the July 17th episode of AEW Dynamite, mentioning that he had received medical clearance for an in-ring return.
“Dynamite 250 is actually my return again because if anyone knows, I broke my foot two months ago and then got hit by a bus and broke my nose, and then returned to the ring. I had one match, I was hung upside down with a rope and then kicked in the face with shoes that had superglued thumbtacks to the bottom of them, and the thumbtacks got stuck in my lip. It kind of messed up my septum, and blood was squirting everywhere. So I am medically cleared after all that, and I am back to rock in Little Rock. It’s gonna be fun, I got a lot of crazy stuff planned.”
We will have to wait and see how Darby Allin will exact revenge on The Elite after being out of action for so long because of them, are fans are most definitely excited for his imminent return.
