The Wyatt Sicks made their highly anticipated WWE debut on the June 17 edition of Monday Night RAW and many people are still wondering how well they will be booked even now. In fact, there is some concern over their future after the events of RAW this week.
While speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray shared some reservations about the latest storyline developments involving Bo Dallas and the Wyatt Sicks faction following the events of the July 15th edition of Monday Night RAW.
Bully noted his observations on Dallas’ return, emphasizing his connection as Bray Wyatt’s brother. He showed concern over the lukewarm crowd reaction to Dallas and criticized what he perceived as an overused laughing gimmick during Dallas’ segment with Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers.
He also raised doubts about the impact of the Wyatt Sicks’ entrance, suggesting that while the initial mystique of their gimmick is intriguing, its repetitive nature might lessen its effectiveness over time.
“Last night was the first night we have seen Bo Dallas,” Bully said. “Not Uncle Howdy. Bo Dallas, the brother of Bray Wyatt, the brother of Windham Rotunda. The closest living link WWE has to Bray, we see him live and in the flesh last night — so-so reaction. To me, that’s concerning.
I’m concerned about the Wyatt Sicks once they make their way into the arena,” Bully continued. “When the lights go out and you hear the noises and you see the smoke, everybody’s like, ‘Ooh!’ Especially because this is a new gimmick and you’re seeing it for the first time. … But we’ve seen it play through.”
Nonetheless, WWE clearly has a long-term plan for the faction so all fans can do right now is to wait and see whether the storyline will have a meaningful conclusion somewhere down the line.
