Charlotte Flair has been a mainstay of WWE television for a decade now and continues to pave her way in the company. While she remains absent due to injury, Flair definitely keeps tabs on the WWE product and she has now reacted to Roxanne Perez mentioning her on NXT television this week.
Roxanne Perez has been the NXT Women’s Champion for a few months now and she is clearly being booked well as the champion. The prodigy is certainly confident in her skills and it is not hard to see why.
During the July 16th episode of WWE NXT, NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez mentioned Charlotte Flair’s illustrious WWE career, pointing out her championship reigns. Perez confidently stated that she was on track to surpass Flair’s accomplishments. She also referenced notable wrestlers such as Bayley, Asuka, and Rhea Ripley, declaring that none of them measured up to her.
In response, Charlotte Flair addressed Perez’s call out on Twitter, encouraging her to keep up the good work and expressing confidence that their paths would cross in the ring someday.
”You almost had it right. It’s been 11. But thank you! I really do have the best fans. 🫶🏻 Keep doing your thing. We will meet in the ring one day—I’m sure of it. 💪🏻 #WWENXT 👑”
Charlotte Flair remains out of action as she is still recovering from her ACL injury. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see when The Queen of WWE will make her triumphant return, as a possible match with Roxanne Perez is certainly something fans would love.
