The pro wrestling world is buzzing with major events and highly anticipated matches. Fans are constantly surprised by the matchups booked for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport events, and the upcoming show is no exception.
Two new matches have been confirmed for the next Bloodsport XI show. Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XI will feature an AEW/ROH vs. MLW showdown, with Josh Woods of “The Premier Athletes” facing Timothy Thatcher. Additionally, Masha Slamovich will go head-to-head with Jody Threat in a match featuring two TNA Wrestling stars.
These matches join an already exciting lineup for Bloodsport XI, scheduled for July 28 in Brooklyn, New York. The event will also include Shayna Baszler vs. Miyu Yamashita, Mike Santana vs. Homicide, “Speedball” Mike Bailey vs. AKIRA, The Creed Brothers (Julius Creed & Brutus Creed), and Charlie Dempsey in action.
It seems that Bloodsport is becoming a bit of a Forbidden Door type of an event. Only time will tell what Barnett books next for his long-running show, but these names have certainly attracted attention.
The Bloodsport event continues to grow in popularity, especially with WWE lending its stars like Shayna Baszler, who recently competed in a Bloodsport ring. Josh Barnett’s ability to book these shows is a key factor in the event’s success.
