The July 16th edition of WWE NXT will deal with the fallout from last week’s show and also build towards future storylines. Naturally, fans are incredibly excited for their weekly dose of NXT action.
This week’s episode of NXT will be held at the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, FL, and will be airing live at 8 pm Eastern time slot on the USA Network and there’s a ton of action that fans can look forward to.
Oba Femi is set to defend his NXT North American Championship against Duke Hudson of Chase University. Last week on NXT, Wes Lee reunited with his former tag team partners Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel. Their backstage confrontation with Gallus led to a six-man tag team match scheduled for this week.
In another development from last week, Brook Jenson attacked Je’Von Evans backstage, preventing him from competing in the main event. This week, Evans seeks redemption as he faces Jenson one-on-one.
Additionally, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and Michin of The O.C. will take on Bronco Nima, Lucien Price, and Jaida Parker in a six-person mixed-tag team match. Tatum Paxley will also square off against Izzi Dame and Roxanne Perez will speak during the show for good measure.
