The wrestling industry has been shaken by grave allegations against Vince McMahon, a divisive figure in the realm of sports entertainment.  Janel Grant filed lawsuit against WWE, John Laurinaitis, and Vince McMahon alleging incidents of sexual assault, emotional abuse, and sex trafficking dating back to March 2019 and she recently filed another petition for a wellness doctor and now a Vince McMahon spokesperson has issued a statement in that regard.

We had previously reported that lawyers for former WWE employee Janel Grant have filed a pre-action discovery petition against Dr. Carlon Colker and his clinic, Peak Wellness, Inc.

Grant alleges that she was sent to the clinic under Vince McMahon’s direction in November 2019 and received undisclosed treatments, including pills and I.V. infusions. According to Grant, when she inquired about the substances in the pills, Dr. Colker responded by questioning her trust in him.

Brandon Thurston revealed that a spokesperson for Vince McMahon responded to inquiries regarding Ms. Grant’s petition for pre-action discovery against Dr. Colker, stating that it directly violates a court-ordered stay. They described the petition as an attempt to generate publicity through false allegations and to harass individuals connected to McMahon, who is involved in a separate lawsuit filed by Ms. Grant.

The spokesperson clarified that Ms. Grant had informed McMahon of her fatigue and asked for a doctor recommendation. Following this, she contacted Dr. Colker and became his patient. The spokesperson noted that Ms. Grant’s current statements in her filing are inconsistent with her previous remarks, as she had only positive things to say about Dr. Colker when discussing him with McMahon and others.

“Ms. Grant’s petition for pre-action discovery against Dr. Colker is a direct violation of the court-ordered stay, and nothing more than an attempt to generate publicity on her false allegations and to harass people connected to Mr. McMahon, who is being sued by Ms. Grant in a separate matter.

The facts are that Ms. Grant told Mr. McMahon she was fatigued and asked him to recommend a doctor. Ms. Grant called Dr. Colker and became a patient of his. Her statement in the filing is inconsistent with her prior remarks. Ms. Grant never had anything but good things to say about the doctor when speaking to Mr. McMahon and others about him.”

This legal action in Connecticut Superior Court in Stamford follows the federal lawsuit, which is currently on hold pending federal investigation. Therefore, we’ll have to see how the case progresses.
