The NXT Universe was about to witness Wes Lee possibly leaving the Black and Gold brand last week after his failure to capture the NXT North American Championship at the Heatwave Premium Live Event.

However, it was the timely arrival of his old cohorts from NXT, now TNA stars Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz, that helped him reconsider his decision and reunite with them as part of The Rascalz.

On the July 16 edition of WWE NXT, The Rascalz competed as a reunited trio to battle Gallus ( Joe Gacy, Mark Gacy and Wolfgang) in a 6-man tag team match to open the show. Amidst the fast-paced action between both teams, the fans even witnessed the surprise appearance of popular TNA star Joe Hendry, who joined the commentary booth upon his arrival.

As the match came to its closing, The Rascalz delivered a perfect trio move on Mark Coffey, allowing Wes Lee to pick up the win and etch their first win in years as a cohesive unit.
