The landscape of WWE’s developmental territory, NXT, is about to undergo a huge change after the Black and Gold brand signed two of the biggest female stars on the independent circuit, Giulia and, most recently, Stephanie Vaquer.

Giulia’s first appearance came at the NXT Stand and Deliver Premium Live Event, and it was speculated that she would make her debut at Heatwave before her wrist injury derailed those plans.

On the other hand, Stephanie Vaquer left CMLL and signed with WWE, making her first in-ring appearance at their recent WWE Live Event in Mexico. She received thunderous ovation and said she would see the NXT brand soon.

Acknowledging the inevitable change, NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, who has been riding the wave of successful title defences name, dropped both new signees during her promo on the July 16 edition of WWE NXT. However, Perez was not thrilled at the idea of them taking over her women’s division and claimed that they would not stand a chance against The Prodigy.

With two megastars set to become a part of NXT, it seems that Roxanne Perez now has painted a target on her back, and both Giulia and Vaquer might just be coming after her to claim the NXT Women’s Championship for themselves.

What are your thoughts on Roxanne Perez naming dropping Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia on WWE NXT television? Could they be potential challengers to her title upon their debut? Sound off in the comments!
