In recent times, several stars from TNA have been making waves in the industry, with Joe Hendry particularly standing out. His recent appearance on NXT television made a significant impact, drawing attention to his talents. Now, Hendry has shared the story behind how he created his theme song.

Joe Hendry surprised the audience with his unexpected appearance at NXT Heatwave, but the surprises continued. On the July 9th episode of WWE NXT, Hendry was revealed as Trick Williams’ surprise tag team partner. Together, they faced Shawn Spears and NXT Champion Ethan Page, with Hendry securing the victory by pinning Spears for the decisive win.

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, Joe Hendry talked about how he created his theme song “I Believe in Joe Hendry.” His goal was clear: engage the audience. Hendry structured the song to include clapping and waving, envisioning it as a tool for audience participation. The lyrics flowed naturally, emphasizing his desire for the crowd to rally behind him and believe in his persona through the power of song.

“I wanted audience participation,” said Hendry, a native of Edinburgh, Scotland. “That’s what I knew it needed. Clapping hands and waving hands were the best options, so I reverse engineered the song in that manner. And the lyrics came to me. I wanted the audience to believe in me. What better way for that to happen than to sing it?”
