Former WWE staff member Janel Grant filed lawsuit against WWE, John Laurinaitis, and Vince McMahon alleging incidents of sexual assault, emotional abuse, and sex trafficking dating back to March 2019. While that lawsuit is currently on hold pending investigation, it appears Grant has filed a petition for record on a WWE Wellness doctor related to the lawsuit.

According to Wrestlenomics, Janel Grant’s attorneys filed a pre-action discovery petition against Dr. Carlon Colker and his clinic, Peak Wellness, Inc today. Grant, who previously worked for WWE, claims that around November 2019, Vince McMahon directed her to Colker’s clinic in Greenwich, Connecticut, where she received undisclosed treatments, including pills and IV infusions.

Grant alleges that when she questioned Dr. Colker about the contents of the pills, he responded defensively, questioning her trust in him. Her attorneys stated that Colker prescribed her “adrenal trays” or “adrenal supplement trays” without explaining the substances, dosages, or purposes, only saying they addressed her fatigue. When she inquired further, he dismissed her concerns with comments about trust.

On multiple visits, Dr. Colker prescribed Ms. Grant with “adrenal trays” or “adrenal supplement trays,” provided by his office and instructed her to take the unmarked pills daily. Dr. Colker did not explain the substances, dosages, or purpose of the pills to Ms. Grant beyond purportedly addressing her symptoms of fatigue. When Ms. Grant asked Dr. Colker about the substance of the supplement trays, and specifically which substance(s) caused her to experience nausea, he responded with pushback about trust, including, “If you don’t trust me, we have bigger problems.”

The petition states that Colker frequently treats WWE employees and talent. Grant is seeking complete medical records for her sex trafficking lawsuit filed earlier this year against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis, claiming the records provided so far are incomplete and inaccurate, with discrepancies such as missing or inconsistent billing and medical records.

Grant’s lawsuit includes allegations of sexual abuse, asserting that a Peak Wellness employee was involved in several instances of abuse by McMahon. She claims McMahon pressured her into sex acts and threesomes, involving a physical therapist from an unnamed clinic, referred to as “Alternative Clinic” in her federal complaint. The identity of “Celebrity Doctor” in the complaint is speculated to be Colker, and “Alternative Clinic” possibly Peak Wellness, but this is unconfirmed.

In January, Grant claimed McMahon urged her to see a physician, anonymized as “Celebrity Doctor,” at “Alternative Clinic,” and felt pressured to continue care there. The new filing in Connecticut Superior Court alleges Colker knew about the NDA between Grant and McMahon, central to the federal lawsuit, and that he recommended she work with his attorney to negotiate the NDA.

Colker, known for working with celebrities and athletes like Justin Bieber, Shaquille O’Neal, and Kristaps Porzingis, operates Peak Wellness, offering a range of medical and wellness services. This legal action in Connecticut Superior Court in Stamford follows the federal lawsuit, which is currently on hold pending federal investigation. Therefore, we’ll have to see how the case progresses.
