New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson had a solid appearance at WWE SmackDown on June 28th at Madison Square Garden. He has now expressed a desire to be part of a WWE event in Indiana.
During the June 28 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Jalen Brunson made a surprising appearance, intervening during a triple threat match involving LA Knight, Logan Paul, and Santos Escobar.
When Indiana Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton attempted to interfere, Brunson stepped in to prevent it. He later entered the ring with a chair to maintain order as Paul and Haliburton were threatening Knight. Ultimately, LA Knight emerged victorious in the triple threat bout, advancing to the Money in the Bank ladder match.
While speaking on the latest episode of the Roommates Show with Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, Brunson made it clear that he wants to be part of a WWE event next time they are in Indiana.
”One of the best things about WWE is the entrances. The pops you get and everything. Watching the best returns and seeing these dudes come out where it’s been a while. The next time, hopefully the next time I do it, I can do it in Indiana so it would be the opposite. See how that goes. Might as well keep the storyline going.”
It remains to be seen whether Jalen Brunson will make more appearances on WWE television in the future. Professional athletes like him are increasingly making their presence felt on WWE programming.
