WWE NXT made a huge announcement of the return of their next NXT special: The Great American Bash. During the NXT Heatwave PLE, WWE revealed that the 2024 Great American Bash will be broadcast on Tuesday, August 6, on Syfy, right after SummerSlam.

However, in a new development announced by commentator Vic Joseph on the July 17 edition of WWE NXT, Great American Bash will now be broadcast as a two-week special starting Tuesday, July 30th and continuing to the previously announced date, August 6.

After being part of WWE’s pay-per-view list for many years, The Great American Bash became an annual event for NXT in July 2020. From 2020 to 2022, it aired as special episodes of NXT and transitioned to a live-streaming event in 2023.

Furthermore, this move aims to attract a broader audience by airing on Syfy instead of its usual USA Network home. Ringside News will provide updates as more matches are announced for the event.
