Another WWE NXT Star Confirmed for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XI

Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport featuring Shayna Baszler marked significant crossover between WWE and the independent wrestling scene. That’s why it was no surprise that she was announced for the next Bloodsport event and now it appears another NXT star will be competing there as well.

Shayna Baszler will be competing at Bloodsport XI and facing off against Miyu Yamashita. It was then announced that Brutus and Julius Creed, collectively known as the Creed Brothers, will make their debut at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XI on July 28 as well.

After competing in AJPW and TNA Wrestling earlier this year, WWE NXT star Charlie Dempsey is gearing up for his return to Bloodsport this month. Josh Barnett took to Twitter to reveal the addition, pointing out Dempsey’s natural fit for the event given his wrestling pedigree.

”A wrestler seemingly born and bred for Bloodsport. And with his pedigree, it seems only natural. Looking to build off of his debut victory, Charlie Dempsey is lacing up the boots once again and walking into the ring of the hardest hitting event in Professional Wrestling – Josh Barnett’s: Bloodsport XI.’

Following his successful debut victory over Matt Makowski in April during WrestleMania week in Philadelphia, Dempsey is set to step back into the ring for Bloodsport XI, promising another hard-hitting performance, so we’ll have to see how he will fare at the event this time around.
