The Unholy Union, comprised of Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, have been on a tear for the past couple of months after becoming the Women’s Tag Team Champions, but it appears they won’t be included on the SummerSlam card this year.

During the Clash at The Castle Premium Live Event, Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre became the new Women’s Tag Team Champions after defeating Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill as well as Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark in a triple threat match.

Being champions is obviously a big deal for the Unholy Union. With SummerSlam taking place on August 3rd, fans are wondering whether the duo will end up defending their titles at the show.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match has been planned for a couple of weeks from now, but it might not take place at SummerSlam.

Dave Meltzer mentioned that this match might be scheduled for the SmackDown the night before SummerSlam. While the Women’s Tag Title match is targeted for this time frame, it is not officially on the SummerSlam card.

“That possibly won’t be on the (SummerSlam) card. I heard that might be on the SmackDown the night before. There’s a Women’s Tag Title match that’s targeted for a couple of weeks, but it’s not officially on the SummerSlam card.”

WWE also committed an embarrassing graphics blunder with Isla Dawn. Regardless, we will have to wait and see who will end up being the Unholy Union’s opponents, as they will likely not be competing at SummerSlam next month.
