The Undertaker, known for his iconic presence and legendary career in WWE, has accomplished a lot in the business but there are things even he doesn’t like. In fact, The Deadman believes The Ministry of Darkness could have gone on for longer than it originally did.

The Undertaker was one of the biggest names during The Attitude Era, with his character evolving from the Deadman to a more sinister persona in the Ministry of Darkness. This group formed after Paul Bearer betrayed Kane, and The Undertaker proclaimed a “plague of evil” would be unleashed in the WWF. Members like Bradshaw, Faarooq, Mideon, Viscera, Edge, Christian, and Gangrel eventually joined, but the group’s run lasted only about a year.

While speaking on the Six Feet Under podcast, The Undertaker was asked if more could have been done with the Ministry of Darkness. He responded that the group had potential for a longer run, possibly two or three years, if it hadn’t been watered down.

The Phenom believed there was still much that could have been explored to push the envelope and work with other talents. Despite its short duration, The Undertaker felt proud of the Ministry of Darkness, as it came at a time when he needed an evolution in his character and it resonated well with fans.

“It definitely had the legs to go on if it hadn’t gotten watered down the way it did. Probably a 2, maybe 3-year run out of that. I think there was so much that we still had left that we could have done to push the envelope and people to work with. But it had its place in my run and I’m pretty proud of it because it came at a time where I really felt like I needed an evolution and I think it resonated.”

In case you missed it, The Undertaker also wants grittier content in WWE under the new leadership. Regardless, The Undertaker is always entitled to his own opinion and that’s all that matters to him.
