Nikki and Brie Bella, now known as The Garcia Twins, are one of the most well-known female WWE Superstars of all time. They are also hailed as trailblazers to boot, for their accomplishments during the Divas era.

The Bella Twins parted ways with WWE back in March last year – a move that shocked the pro wrestling world to its core as they were such integral parts of the WWE machine over the years.

Before their wrestling careers, the Bella Twins worked at Hooters during their college years. They later moved to Los Angeles to pursue opportunities in acting and modeling. Though they didn’t make it through the 2006 WWE Diva Search, they were eventually offered contracts, which launched their wrestling careers.

While speaking to The New York Post, the Bella Twins reflected on how their time at Hooters contributed to their success in WWE. They explained that working there helped them develop confidence, assertiveness, and the ability to handle challenging situations. These skills proved valuable in their wrestling careers, allowing them to command attention and stand their ground both in and out of the ring.

“Working there, you really owned your feminine energy. As a waitress, you have to have confidence to go up to strangers and talk. But we had to have thick skin and not only confidence, but you had to own it. You’re going up to men, who are excited and want to get crazy. So we knew how to keep them in line. … And we all set boundaries for ourselves. … And didn’t take any crap from our customers. So it really taught me at a young age just to stand up for myself and to own it, own the room and own a table. And I think it really helped me with pro wrestling to take that attitude into that,” Brie said.

Nikki Bella also admitted that she is willing to come out of retirement to square off against Britt Baker. Regardless, we will have to wait and see what’s next in store for the Bella twins, as the sky is truly the limit for them.
