Sonya Deville Has First Singles Match Since Return From Injury During July 15 WWE RAW

Sonya Deville was riding high as one half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions until an injury sidelined her for nearly a year. Now, she is back and made her return to the ring during the July 15 episode of WWE RAW.

Before tonight, Sonya Deville’s last match in WWE was on July 28, 2023, on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, where Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair defeated Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville.

In a memorable moment, Vega covered herself in Vaseline before the match, hoping to slip away from Deville’s clutches. However, this tactic proved ineffective as Deville, formerly part of Fire & Desire, won the match decisively and made a strong statement in the process.

Since her return to television, Sonya Deville has been trying to recruit Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler under her wing. The trio surprised fans by debuting as a stable and taking out Damage CTRL. It remains to be seen what Deville, Stark, and Baszler will accomplish together.
