Sami Zayn is the Intercontinental Champion after defeating GUNTHER for the title at WrestleMania 40, but he has other passions besides pro wrestling and that includes his comedy show and it appears he is set for another comedy show during SummerSlam weekend.
With WrestleMania 40 in the rearview mirror, WWE fans are excited for next big event on the calendar: SummerSlam. Set to take place at the iconic Cleveland Browns Stadium on Saturday, August 3rd, SummerSlam definitely has a ton of hype behind it for good reason.
Sami Zayn is set to host another comedy show during SummerSlam Weekend. WWE has announced ‘Sami Zayn & Friends Do Cleveland’ as part of the SummerSlam schedule, taking place on Friday, August 2 at The Agora Cleveland.
This event follows Zayn’s recent comedy shows in Los Angeles and Toronto, with his last show held at the Danforth Music Hall during Money in the Bank weekend. Past guests have included Johnny Knoxville, Cody Rhodes, Bayley, and Trish Stratus.
The same venue, The Agora Cleveland, will also host The Undertaker’s ‘1 deadMAN show’ on Saturday, August 3 preceding SummerSlam. Tickets for Sami Zayn’s Cleveland show will be available starting this Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET, with options for a post-show meet-and-greet with Zayn. We’ll have to wait and see how the comedy show will turn out in the end, as Zayn has been receiving rave reviews so far.
