The WWE’s Bloodline saga has been running for years, and there are no signs that it will wrap up any time soon. Although the angle has brought in numerous Samoan wrestlers and some former Superstars, Rikishi is still waiting for his call. He hopes to get that call sooner rather than later.
Jey and Jimmy Uso are no longer part of the Bloodline storyline. Jey has forged a big name for himself on RAW as Main Event Jey Uso, while Jimmy is injured, and he hasn’t been seen since his ejection from the Bloodline after his WrestleMania 40 loss to his twin brother. Only time will tell where this leads, but their father, Rikishi, wants in on the action.
The Hall of Famer and multi-time champion spoke on this topic during the latest edition of Rikishi Fatu Off The Top. He was very open to the idea of joining the Bloodline in some form or fashion. However, he wouldn’t want to pick a side in the war between family members, because he wants to work for both sides.
“Would I be interested? Of course I would. But it’d just have to work for both sides. I’m at a part of my life, it’s like more than wrestling to me now. I’ve been there, done that for 30-something years, dedicated my life to the professional wrestling industry of being on the road, doing the thing, what I’m supposed to do out there. I don’t know, honestly, if the demands of being a part of The Bloodline, if in case it comes to the point where I need to be on the road a lot, then I’m not kind of interested. I want to be able to dedicate my life now to catch up a lot of time that I’ve lost, to my family, and to be able to spend quality time with them. I like to be at their place, watching them on TV, but when they come home, I can see them. That’s the part I want to be a part of. But keep your fingers crossed. You never know when [I] might pop up. You never know.”
The new version of The Bloodline features Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tanga Loa, and Tama Tonga. Solo will be challenging Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed Universal WWE Championship at SummerSlam, with all signs hinting at a Roman Reigns return. This is a storyline that could grow in importance as we approach SummerSlam.
Solo Sikoa will battle Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE World Title at SummerSlam in August. That will be a huge match for him and provide a perfect opportunity for Roman Reigns’ eventual return. If Roman does come back, he will prove Solo wrong, who previously told Paul Heyman that the Head of the Table is not returning. It will also set the stage for a much bigger confrontation down the line.
We will keep our eyes peeled for any developments in the Bloodline’s ongoing story. This is a big time to be a WWE fan, and we can’t wait to bring you the headlines here at Ringside News.
