Damian Priest Seemingly Teases Character Change During WWE Live Event

Damian Priest has been dominating Monday Night RAW as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for the past few months and he has been a heel through it all. However, it appears he seemingly teased turning face during a WWE live event.

“El Campeon” Damian Priest has been on a remarkable streak since April 2024, achieving impressive victories in what may be the most successful three-month period of his singles career. In fact, he has been getting increased fanfare as a result as well.

Damian Priest is lately seen as the voice of reason within The Judgement Day, especially after everything that has been going on with Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan. It’s become quite apparent that WWE has major plans for Damian Priest right now.

WWE took to their Instagram and uploaded a video featuring Damian Priest and Jey Uso during the July 14 WWE Live Event in Mexico. Priest won the match and in a very surprising gesture, he helped Jey Uso up after the match and even did Uso’s signature hand gesture, as he seemingly teased turning face.

“Well, THIS is interesting.”

Interestingly enough, Damian Priest even wanted Jey Uso to join The Judgment Day. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see if Damian Priest will end up becoming a babyface eventually, as he has a huge match in front of him, with him defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against GUNTHER at SummerSlam next month.
