The Miz has been part of WWE for almost two decades now and there is no doubt one of his best feuds was with Bryan Danielson. In fact, he revealed why he dislikes his most infamous segment with Bryan Danielson.

On the August 23, 2016, episode of Talking Smack, Bryan Danielson and The Miz took part in one of the most iconic promos in WWE history. It ended up elevating The Miz to the very next level, while Bryan Danielson was visibly upset and stormed off the set.

The Miz would go on to add prestige to the Intercontinental Championship for several months and fans truly started respecting The Miz and taking him more seriously thanks to his promo.

In an interview with Adrian Hernandez, The Miz talked about his infamous segment with Bryan Danielson. The 43-year-old star expressed his disapproval of the segment, admitting he was filled with anger and struggling to maintain control.

“The one with Daniel Bryan, that’s probably my most infamous. When I got back and got out of that, I was so angry. It was real anger. I’ve never felt that type of anger before, and I didn’t know what to do with it. It’s scary. I lost control of everything, and I just started yelling, and the veins were popping out of my head. I don’t like watching it. I don’t like the feeling that I had. I was so mad.”

WWE hasn’t quite managed to achieve the same level of success with their promos since then. Nevertheless, The Miz and Bryan Danielson will always hold mutual respect for each other, regardless of the circumstances.
