Clarification has emerged regarding WWE’s plans for Stephanie Vaquer, with her new brand now confirmed.

After finishing her commitments with CMLL and NJPW, it was announced by Shawn Michaels that the former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion was WWE-bound.

While many fans initially expected her to begin her WWE career in NXT, there was speculation that Vaquer might be fast-tracked to the main roster following her impressive in-ring debut at the July 13 house show in Mexico City, Mexico.

Vaquer’s victory over Women’s Tag Team Champion Isla Dawn sparked rumors of her joining the Raw women’s division. These rumors gained further traction from a backstage video showing Vaquer speaking with World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest.

However, Stephanie Vaquer has now confirmed that she will officially join the NXT roster. In a video shared on WWE’s Instagram page, Vaquer announced:

“NXT, see you soon.”

Vaquer is also set to appear at Sunday’s live event in Monterrey, Mexico, marking another step in her transition to WWE.
