AJ Styles Reveals Why He Wants NOAH Wrestlers to Come to WWE

AJ Styles has been considered one of the best pro wrestlers by fans and his peers and he had a very solid match at the most recent NOAH event. As part of WWE’s partnership with NOAH, Styles revealed why he wants NOAH wrestlers to come to WWE as well.

Pro Wrestling NOAH and WWE announced that AJ Styles would face off against Naomichi Marufuji at NOAH Destination 2024 on July 13 at Budokan Hall and fans expected great match and that’s what they got as he faced Marufuji in a great outing and picked up the win with thunderous Styles Clash.

While speaking to Yahoo Japan, AJ Styles made it clear that he has welcomed this new era of cooperation between WWE and NOAH, describing it as just the beginning of a promising partnership. He is optimistic about the future, pointing out the need for adjustments and expressing a desire to see more wrestlers crossing over between Noah and WWE.

“It’s just the beginning, and I think there are many adjustments that need to be made, but I would like to see more wrestlers coming back and forth between the two organizations.”

AJ Styles gave emphasis to the mutual benefits of wrestler exchanges, advocating for a more balanced flow where not only WWE superstars visit NOAH but also NOAH’s talent gets opportunities in WWE. He stressed the importance of such exchanges for young wrestlers, citing how NOAH wrestlers could benefit from experiencing the American wrestling environment while WWE superstars could gain insights into Japanese pro wrestling culture.

“It would be good if it wasn’t just WWE wrestlers coming to Noah, but Noah wrestlers coming to WWE. Noah wrestlers can learn about the American environment by going to WWE. At the same time, WWE superstars will also learn about Japanese pro wrestling culture. I think it would be good, especially for young wrestlers.”

Two WWE NXT Superstars are set to compete at NOAH’s N1-Victory tournament this summer as well. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether NOAH wrestlers to make their way to WWE eventually.
