WWE is certainly expanding its horizons when it comes to working with other promotions now. After all, WWE is working with Pro Wrestling NOAH for a huge crossover match soon and it appears WWE will be sending a couple of NXT Superstars to a huge NOAH tournament.
As previously reported, Pro Wrestling NOAH and WWE announced that AJ Styles will face off against Naomichi Marufuji at NOAH Destination 2024 on July 13 at Budokan Hall and fans are hyped for the match for good reason.
The two companies have a good relationship as they worked together last year as well, which saw Shinsuke Nakamura squaring off against the Great Muta at NOAH’s New Year show.
Pro Wrestling NOAH took to Twitter and confirmed that NXT stars Josh Briggs and Tavion Heights will be competing in the N1-Victory tournament, which will be taking place on August 4th at the Yokohama Budokan and will last till September 1st, ending at the Edion Arena Osaka 1st Stadium. A total of 16 wrestlers will compete in the match and that includes Briggs and Tavion Heights.
