Damian Priest has been dominating Monday Night RAW as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for the past few months and that remained the same after SmackDown this week.

“El Campeon” Damian Priest has been on a remarkable streak since April 2024, achieving impressive victories in what is likely the best three-month period of his singles career. Notably, he has triumphed over a former champion six times in a row, bringing their series to an even 7-7.

After the July edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Priest clashed with “Main Event” Jey Uso in their 14th match overall. Once again, Priest came out on top, defeating Uso for the sixth time in two months and successfully retaining the World Heavyweight Championship.

This was vindication for Damian Priest, who was unable to attend the June 28th edition of Friday Night SmackDown at Madison Square Garden as he was dealing with flight issues.
