Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton have been feuding with The Bloodline for several months now and it doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. In fact, The Bloodline launched a brutal assault on SmackDown this week and Rhodes helped Orton to the back after the show.

On the July 12 episode of WWE SmackDown, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes confronted Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. Despite his valiant effort, Rhodes was overwhelmed by the faction. Randy Orton rushed in to assist, but he too fell victim to the group’s brutal assault.

As Rhodes was tied up in the ropes, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa ambushed Orton with steel steps. Jacob Fatu delivered three superkicks to Orton, and together, Fatu, Tonga, and Loa powerbombed him through the broadcast table.

In a SmackDown Exclusive, Rhodes and WWE officials checked on a clearly injured Orton. They carefully helped him to his feet and escorted him backstage, with Orton visibly struggling and needing to stop several times due to the severity of his injuries.
