Pro Wrestling NOAH and WWE announced that AJ Styles will face off against Naomichi Marufuji at NOAH Destination 2024 on July 13 at Budokan Hall and fans were definitely hyped for it for good reason.

The Phenomenal One came out to his classic Japan gear as he was determined to pick up the win in his first match in Japan for several years. Naturally, he had a huge challenge as Naomichi Marufuji is a legend in his own name.

It was an incredibly contested match from start to finish as both AJ Styles and the legendary Marufuji pulled out all the stops in order to come out the victory. The match feautred several incredible sequences from both competitors, keeping fans at the edge of their seats.

When all was said and done, it was AJ Styles who triumphed over Naomichi Marufuji, as he hit a devastating Styles Clash for the big win. The two showed respect to each other by bowing and then raising each other’s hands.

We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for AJ Styles next, as fans were most definitely impressed by what he was able to accomplish at NOAH’s Destination event today.
