The Bloodline saga has been ongoing for years, and it seems WWE intends to continue it for the foreseeable future. Solo Sikoa now leads the Bloodline with a new group of allies standing behind him. This week’s episode followed up on last week’s developments.

On the July 5 episode of WWE SmackDown, the Bloodline appeared towards the end of the show, taking deliberate approach to their storyline. During the July 12 episode, Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tanga Loa, and Tama Tonga were prominently featured once again.

The Bloodline made a sudden impact right after DIY retained their tag team titles. Jacob Fatu stormed into the ring, delivering devastating splashes from the top rope to Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa as they celebrated. Solo Sikoa joined him shortly after.

After a commercial break, Solo Sikoa addressed the audience, calling for their acknowledgment, despite being met with boos and chants for Roman Reigns. Solo discussed Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman no longer acknowledging him, asserting that if Roman Reigns returns, he will recognize Solo as his tribal chief.

Solo then turned his attention to Cody Rhodes, challenging him to acknowledge him next. Before Solo could finish, Cody Rhodes interrupted with his entrance music. Cody expressed a desire for the same goals as Solo and suggested they needed to consult with Nick Aldis, but the match is on as far as he sees it.

This was followed by the Bloodline surrounding Cody, but Randy Orton ran down to make the save. This didn’t help, because both Cody and Randy took brutal beatdowns. Orton was even put through the announce table with a Shield-style triple power bomb.

The anticipation now builds towards SummerSlam, where Cody Rhodes versus Solo Sikoa promises to be a significant matchup. While Cody proposed a match on SmackDown, they agreed to save it for the grand stage of SummerSlam.

What’s your perspective on The Bloodline storyline? Are you eager for Roman Reigns’ return, or are you invested in Solo Sikoa’s leadership? Share your thoughts in the comments!
