WWE Set To Make Big SummerSlam Announcement During July 12 SmackDown

WWE is preparing a big show for SmackDown this week, building momentum for SummerSlam. This includes revealing who will main event the biggest party of the summer during the July 12 episode of SmackDown.

Cody Rhodes is currently the Undisputed WWE Champion, and the top name on SmackDown. He doesn’t have a SummerSlam opponent yet, but that’s about to change.

WrestleVotes reported, “Tonight from Worcester: The SummerSlam main event becomes official tonight with Rhodes and Solo, all while Randy Orton finds himself intertwined in the story. We will have to see which way WWE goes with this.”

WWE SummerSlam will take place this year at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland on August 3. This is a significant event for Ohio and should help sell the remaining tickets.
